The 2021 third quarter Daily Postcard Photography Contest winner is Marc Bailey. He received a $100 prize at the Los Alamos Daily Post newspaper office Thursday for submitting his winning photo, ‘Sun Warms Golden-mantled Ground Squirrel’. ‘This photo is a wonderful capture of the moment and it’s nicely rendered…,’ one of the judges said. Honoring Native American Heritage Month, the Taos Pueblo Gallery opened Saturday, Nov. 20 as a semi-permanent exhibition at the MRM.
It highlights the cultural lifeways and artistic achievements of the people of Taos Pueblo or Tuah Ah, the Place of Red Willows.
The exhibition represents an ongoing partnership between Taos Pueblo Tourism and the Museum, who collaborate on the Taos Pueblo Artists Winter Showcase that takes place each March.

Beginning Friday Dec. 10, Teatro Paraguas will present A Musical Piñata for Christmas IX, an annual community celebration for the Holidays with six live performances.
The celebration features a short play written by Alix Hudson and Paola Vengoechea Martini and directed by JoJo Sena de Tarnoff entitled Marimorena, Biscochitos, and the Fear of Missing Out.
