New Economic Impact Study Released On New Mexico Film Incentive Program 2020 Through 2021

SANTA FE – The New Mexico Economic Development Department (NMEDD) and the New Mexico Film Office have released and presented a new economic impact study on New Mexico’s film and television industry.
The independent study, commissioned by the New Mexico Film Office, was completed by Olsberg SPI an international creative industries consultant firm specializing in the global screen sector.

For the first time, KTAOS 101.9 FM is broadcasting outside of Taos. Throughout Friday, the solar-powered radio station will be transmitting live from Los Alamos.

This year instead of auditions, the International Shakespeare Center (ISC) is holding open workshops with ISC Artistic Director Ariana Karp.
Anyone interested in performing in the 2022 season is welcome to attend and participate.
Each two-hour session will consist of a group warm-up and then a series of exercises in ensemble building, text, voice and movement.

The Los Alamos Arts Council (LAAC) presents Black Mesa Brass Quintet at noon Wednesday, Dec. 1 at Fuller Lodge. The performance is part of the Arts Council’s Brown Bag Show series.
The Black Mesa Brass Quintet was formed in 1990. Their repertoire includes classical, modern, pop, and jazz tunes. They play a variety of venues, including concerts, educational performances at schools, weddings and other special occasions. Their collective musical experience is on the order of 250 years.
