Big Brothers Big Sisters Hosts Community Game Night

BBBS News:

Big Brothers Big Sisters is hosting a community game night 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19 at the Los Alamos Nature Center.

The community is invited attend and play board games and video games in the Planetarium.

Big Brothers Big Sisters serves 56 children in the Los Alamos and White Rock communities through its community based and school based programs.

LALT News:

Los Alamos Little Theatre invites interested patrons and prospective actors to attend a play reading at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, in the Green Room at the Performing Arts Center, 1670 Nectar St.

The evening’s reading will feature the eight short plays to be performed by LALT in May. The plays were selected from 22 scripts submitted by New Mexico playwrights.

SANTA FE The Museum of International Folk Art (MOIFA) is celebrating the 10th year of its innovative Folk Art Flea, and it is on the move. Normally held in May, this year’s Flea is jumping to June—Saturday, June 8.
 
The Flea also is moving outdoors. Look for the big tent on Milner Plaza on Museum Hill where this year’s Flea treasures will be waiting for new homes. The large tent will be easy to spot and will provide a roomy and shaded location for shoppers to peruse this year’s folk art finds.

Programming for the free 2019 Summer Concert Series is under contract, and planning for another season of musical acts will be getting under way in February.
