SANTA FE New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs Cabinet Secretary Veronica Gonzales has announced the appointment of new State Librarian Eli Guinnee, a native New Mexican returning from Jamestown, NY.
 
After conducting a national search, a diverse committee of library professionals unanimously recommended Guinnee to the Secretary of Cultural Affairs. Mr. Guinnee will assume his new post as State Librarian Monday, Sept. 10.
