NMFO: ‘The Punishment’ To film In New Mexico

SANTA FE ― New Mexico Film Office Director Nick Maniatis announced that the short “The Punishment” produced by Shot Click Films, LLC will shoot principal photography through early July in Santa Fe and Albuquerque.
 
The production will employ approximately 11 New Mexico crew members and approximately eight New Mexico actors. In partnership with Studio Institute Southwest, the production also will provide mentorship and on-set experiences to three student interns.

The Los Alamos County Community Services Department is hosting a FREE Community Party, 2-5 p.m. July 4 at Overlook Park.

Central Avenue and 15th Street will experience a 20-minute road closure to two-way traffic 10:30-10:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 4, to accommodate The Family YMCA’s annual Independence Day Children’s Parade.
 
The road will be blocked from the Justice Center Parking lot easterly to 15th Street and on 15th Street northward from Central to Iris to the Y’s driveway entrance.
