LALT Holds Auditions For Silent Sky

Los Alamos Little Theatre will hold auditions for its September production of Lauren Gunderson’s Silent Sky, directed by John Cullinan and produced by John Gustafson.
 
Auditions are 2 p.m., Saturday, June 23 and 7 p.m., Sunday June 24. Both sessions are at the Performing Arts Center at 1670 Nectar St. Appointments for auditions outside of the above times can be made, if the director’s schedule allows. Pride Week Features Special Events June 15-17

The Los Alamos County Council presented a proclamation in May, which recognizes the second week of June as Annual LGBTQ+ Pride Week. This is the first time Pride has been recognized or celebrated by the Los Alamos Community.

It started when three women, Tina DeYoe, Roberta Beal and Danielle Sutherland were sitting around talking about how great it would be if Los Alamos had its own Pride Week, as many other communities do.

Atomic City Children’s Theater (ACCT) will host its Summer Workshops next week. There are spots still available.

DURANGO, Colo.  Purgatory Resort is re-opening for the weekend with Plaza activities 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
