“Moana” is a visual and auditory delight for adults, with a fun plot line for kids. It is an animated story of an adventurous daughter of a Polynesian chief in the pre-contact Pacific region. LALT’s Staged Reading Of ‘After You’ve Gone’ Dec. 3

Los Alamos Little Theatre announces a staged reading of “After You’ve Gone,” a new work by Santa Fe-based playwright Mark Dunn.

The staged reading is 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Performing Arts Center, 1670 Nectar St. in Los Alamos. Admission is free for this one-time event.

The 23rd Annual “Crèches from Around the World” exhibit is Dec. 2-3 at the Los Alamos chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1967 18th St.

Admission is free and the exhibit is open to the public noon to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3.

Bisti/De-Na-Zin Wilderness Like Walking On Mars

A recent hike to the Bisti/De-Na-Zin Wilderness, reveals a 45,000-acre (18,000 ha) wilderness area in San Juan County in the four corners area of New Mexico. Established in 1984, this wilderness is a desolate area of steeply eroded badlands managed by the Bureau of Land Management, with the exception of three parcels of private Navajo land within its boundaries.
