At approximately 2:45 p.m. today, three cars were involved in a traffic collision on the truck route across from the Los Alamos National Laboratory shooting range. 

Nichole Stafford, driver of a white Altima sedan reported to the Los Alamos Daily Post that she was heading east bound on the truck route when a car in front of her was preparing to turn left into the area of the shooting range. Aspen Elementary School Physical Education Teacher Adam Garcia organized the first school-wide outdoor “Field Day,” in which all 400 Aspen students spent Thursday afternoon participating in races, hulahoop contests, water balloon relay and other field events at the school.
