County: 4th Of July Holiday Trash And Brush Collection

COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County Environmental Services Division (ESD) would like to remind residents of the upcoming refuse and brush collection schedule for the Fourth of July holiday.

Curbside Collection Schedule

  • If your regular collection day is Thursday, July 2, 2026, there is no change to your refuse and brush collection. Please place your carts at the curb as you normally would.
  • If your regular collection day is Friday, July 3, your refuse and brush collection will occur tomorrow, Wednesday, July 1. Please place your carts at the curb tomorrow morning, by 8 a.m. to ensure collection.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. Forest Service is inviting public comment on a proposed rule to modernize its directives system – the agency’s internal documentation that guides how employees carry out their work. Limited Private-Land Pronghorn Licenses Available For Northern NM

SANTA FE – The New Mexico Department of Wildlife reminds hunters that private-land pronghorn licenses in northeastern New Mexico are available for the 2026-2027 license year.

Private-land pronghorn license sales are limited in Game Management Units (GMU) 41, 42, 47, 56, 57, 58 and 59. These licenses will be available beginning at 8 a.m. July 1 through the Department’s Online License System, license vendors or by phone at 888-248-6866.
