A vehicle crashed into the front wall of McDonald’s at 1247 Trinity Dr. this morning. People were sitting at tables eating on the other side of the wall where the impact occurred. Employees said no one was injured and that they believe the 95-year-old driver was parked and he inadvertently put the car in drive rather than reverse and stepped on the accelerator when attempting to leave the restaurant. The driver was not cited because the accident occurred on private property, Deputy Police Chief Kevin Purtymun said. Photo by Greg Kendall/ladailypost.com
