School Board Business Targets Bus Loop and Budget

LAPS News:

The Los Alamos Board of Education is scheduled to meet at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the Speech Theater at Los Alamos High School for a work session immediately following a special school board meeting.

The agendas include an update from the LAHS Bus Loop Committee and discussion on the LAPS 2012-13 budget.

The following information was provided by the Los Alamos Police Department. Neither arrests nor charges indicate a conviction, and neither means that a person is guilty of the charges filed against them.

April 12 at 9:46 a.m. / Los Alamos National Laboratory reported that it was the victim of larceny in the 800 block of Mesita Del Buy. The estimated loss is less than $2,500.

Property Tax Bills Due May 10

COUNTY News:

The second-half installment of the 2011 Property Tax Bills became due Tuesday, April 10 and will be considered delinquent after Thursday, May 10. 

Payment must either be made in person at the 311 Customer Care Center by 5 p.m. on May 10 or postmarked by midnight that same day to avoid late payment penalty and interest charges.

The 311 Customer Care Center is located at 150 Central Park Square and open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. 

Payments also can be mailed to P.O. Box 99, Los Alamos, NM  87544.
