Free Camping At Bandelier Saturday June 27

All over the country, this weekend is being celebrated as the Great American Campout. It’s a time for packing the tent and sleeping bags into the car, heading out for a favorite camping spot, and enjoying a weekend in the great outdoors.
 
As a part of the celebration, Bandelier National Monument is inviting campers to come and stay in the park’s Juniper Campground for free Saturday night, June 27.

In the 1-mile race, Martin Pieck was 27 seconds and Bob Weeks was 29 seconds off their predictions. Tuesday’s pace race was held on trails to the Estante Overlook and in Portrillo Canyon.

PHOENIX The Internal Revenue Service reminds everyone who has one or more bank or financial accounts located outside the United States, or signature authority over such accounts that they may need to file an FBAR by Tuesday, June 30.

The New Mexico Environment Department issued a few of the recent project activities on the Kirtland Air Force Base clean up of a decades-old jet fuel spill:

Colorado Man Sentenced In New Mexico For Robbery

ALBUQUERQUE — Robert O’Dell Neihart, 44, of Ignacio, Colo., was sentenced Wednesday afternoon in federal court in Las Cruces to 148 months in prison for the armed robbery of a Wells Fargo Bank branch in Farmington.
 
Neihart will be on supervised release for three years after completing his prison sentence.
 
Neihart was arrested in November 2012 on a two-count indictment charging him with the armed robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank branch on East Main Street in Farmington Sept. 21, 2012, and using a firearm during a crime of violence.
