WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Sen. Ben Ray Luján (D-N.M.) Wednesday introduced the Savvy Savers Act, which would build toward more transparency for Americans planning for retirement.
This common-sense bill would require the Department of Labor (DOL) to conduct a study and report to Congress on the effectiveness of disclosures and their transparency for self-directed retirement accounts and pension accounts.

New Mexico True Certified Partners Report Higher Sales

SANTA FE — According to an annual survey of New Mexico True Certified businesses, 61 percent of respondents reported a revenue increase in 2021 compared to 2020.
The New Mexico Tourism Department (NMTD) conducted the survey to better understand how program partners were adapting to business challenges and opportunities that emerged in 2021. Nearly half of NMTD’s 450 New Mexico True Certified program partners participated in the survey.
