Secret City Esports Sends Six Teams To NMAA State Championships

LAPS News:

The Los Alamos High School Esports Team, Secret City Esports, is sending six teams to the NMAA State Championships being held April 10-12. 

The team was recently ranked the number three program in the United States by USA Today. This is the second year in a row making the top 25. Last year, they came in third overall at the state finals.

Esports became a New Mexico Activities Association (NMAA) sanctioned activity in 2019.

That year, teams from Los Alamos placed 2nd at the state competition. In 2021, they were named 4A state champions.

The community is invited to join the Tub as it turns 10! This year marks the 10th anniversary of Bathtub Row Brewing Co-op, one of only eight brewing co-ops in the country.

The Tub opened its doors April 22, 2015 at 163 Central Park Square after several years of planning and fundraising. Just over a month later, on May 24, 2015, the first Tub beers were released.
