The Los Alamos Daily Post's events calendar broadcast, "Clark & Kendall's Weekend Preview" debuted today. Carol A. Clark and Greg Kendall co-host this weekly program, which previews each upcoming weekend's events scheduled throughout Los Alamos and White Rock.

New Section Added to Los Alamos Daily Post

The Los Alamos Daily Post has launched a new section under the menu item labeled “Focus.” 

This new section is devoted to continuing coverage of a particular topic.

It features a topic overview, FAQs, all related news stories, photo galleries and background information.

Drew Goddard is a writer and director in Hollywood who was raised in Los Alamos and graduated from Los Alamos High School.

His latest film, The Cabin in the Woods launches in theaters around the country Friday April 13 – including the local Reel Deal Theater.

Goddard’s mother, Colleen Goddard, will introduce the film at 6:50 p.m. She is a sixth grade teacher at Chamisa Elementary School in White Rock.

Come by the Co-op Tuesday, April 24 from 6 to 8 p.m and join the Los Alamos Youth Food Project (LAYFP), the JJAB and The Family YMCA by creating a miniature greenhouse. Kids of all ages can stop by the Co-op and learn about the LAYFP, sponsored by a grant from the State Farm Youth Advisory Board, and receive free supplies and instructions to get them going and growing.
