This summer, young people are going to help keep Los Alamos County running.
Starting June 28, the County is opening its doors and job positions to local and regional high school students in its first ever paid summer internship program for teenagers.

Council To Hold Closed Session To Interview Applicants For Los Alamos County Manager At Noon Thursday June 25
The Los Alamos County Council will hold a closed session noon, June 25 in the Municipal Building at 1000 Central Ave.
The purpose of the closed session is for council to interview county manager applicants; debrief with interview panels and discuss the county manager applicants.

SANTA FE – New Mexico Department of Health officials have announced 100 new COVID-19 cases today.
Los Alamos County reports zero new cases so the total remains 537 people who have tested positive for COVID-19. (County totals are subject to change upon further investigation and determination of residency of individuals positive for COVID-19.)
This update includes 4 new deaths in New Mexico today related to COVID-19.
The New Mexico Department of Health reports the most recent cases:
- 29 new cases in Bernalillo County
- 3 new cases in Catron County
