Los Alamos County’s third-party hosting service has reported that the County’s website, which went offline last Thursday, should come back online overnight.
In the meantime, any individual wishing to view past Council or Boards/Commissions meetings, or, to view current agendas for upcoming meetings, should visit

SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials announced this afternoon 315 more positive tests for COVID-19.
Los Alamos County reports no new cases today so the total remains at 459 people who have tested positive for COVID-19. (County totals are subject to change upon further investigation and determination of residency of individuals positive for COVID-19.)
Today’s update includes 13 more deaths in New Mexico related to COVID-19.

The Los Alamos County website, www.losalamosnm.us continues to be down this morning; however, the third-party host reported this morning that its team is making progress on resolving the issue and the website is expected to be back up later today.
Residents are asked to continue to check the website throughout the day.
The County will post another status update when the website comes back online.

Since Jan. 30 when the New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) started providing county-level vaccination data, I have been disappointed in the low per capita vaccination rate reported for the County ranking us at 31 of 33 counties in the per capita vaccination rate.

The Los Alamos County website www.losalamosnm.us continues to be down.
The third party service has now identified the issue and is beginning the process of restoring service to customers. No timeline yet about when the website will be back online.

Jan. 29 was Denise Cassel’s final day on the job. After 24 years working in the Los Alamos County’s Human Resources Department and serving 16 of those years as the Human Resources Manager, Cassel is moving on to the next chapter of her life: retirement.
Her replacement, Jennifer Dorian, worked with Cassel prior to her retirement to ensure a smooth transition.
