Traffic Alert: Two Vehicle Crash At Trinity Drive & Central Avenue Along Construction Zone
Traffic Alert:
Los Alamos Police report a two-vehicle crash with unknown injuries has occurred in the construction zone near the Trinity Drive and Central Avenue area.
Eastbound traffic on Trinity Drive is down to one lane. There is no westbound traffic on Trinity Drive at this time … ALL westbound traffic is being diverted onto Central Avenue.
Motorists are urged to proceed with extreme caution and if at all possible to avoid the area altogether and seek alternate routes.
Environmental Services/Sustainability Board Thank Community For Successful Clean Up Los Alamos Day

Los Alamos County Environmental Services and the Environmental Sustainability Board would like to thank all the volunteers that participated in the 16th annual Clean Up Los Alamos Day Saturday, May 18.
Volunteers helped pick up trash from all over the county including school grounds, parks and trails. More than 100 participants registered to volunteer in 15 groups. With their help, 600 pounds of trash was collected around the community. A volunteer appreciation lunch was held at Ashley Pond Park following the cleanup.
