Trinity Drive Lane Closure Scheduled For Next Week

COUNTY News:

As part of the 20th Street Extension Project, construction crews will be locating existing underground utilities on Trinity Drive at the intersection of 20th Street followed by placement of new underground conduit via subsurface boring. 

This work requires temporary lane and sidewalk closures on Trinity Drive near 20th Street scheduled as follows, weather permitting:

  • Sept. 11 westbound right lane;
  • Sept. 12 westbound right lane; and
  • Sept. 13 westbound right lane.

The estate of the late Diana Mariani-Stepan, former Los Alamos County assistant manager and Indigent Healthcare administrator, will receive $2.249 million following an agreement reached in a case involving alleged violations of the False Claims Act.

Home Renewal Program Cycle 1 & 2 Update

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County’s Community Development Department and the Los Alamos Housing Partnership (LAHP) provided an update today on the Home Renewal Program, including close out of construction projects completed in the first cycle, and financial assistance awards being offered for those who applied and were eligible for the second cycle.

Residents who meet low-income qualifications and require financial assistance to make repairs or improvements are eligible to apply for this subsidized loan program. Homeowners are not required to make payments until the home is sold or vacated. Read More
