The Los Alamos County Traffic Division will be setting up for lane closures at Diamond Drive and West Road as well as at Diamond Drive and Trinity Drive Wednesday, Feb. 1 through Friday, Feb. 3 to allow for installation of illuminated hospital signs.
The work will begin at 9 a.m. and shut down for the lunch hour starting at 11:30 a.m. through 1:15 p.m. and end work at 3:30 p.m. each day.
Motorists are urged to proceed carefully through these project zones.

Super Bowl Buzz Bus Takes Reservations

The Los Alamos DWI Planning Council and Atomic City Transit (ACT) are partnering once again to provide free safe ride services in Los Alamos.
Super Bowl Sunday is a day when many people will attend parties with alcohol, so a Buzz Bus service is something these two groups hope community members will take advantage of.

Alert: Traffic Crash At Oppenheimer And Trinity

UPDATE: Crash scene is cleared and all traffic lanes are reopened.
LAPD News:
Some wsestbound lanes are going to be briefly closed at Oppenheimer and Trinity Drive this morning as Los Alamos Police Officers clear a crash scene.
The crash occurred at about 7:45 a.m. and involves a semi-truck vs. a small passenger car. No injuries have been reported. The semi-truck driver has been cited for making an improper turn.
One west bound lane is open through the turn lane. Drivers are urged to proceed with caution.

Los Alamos County is pleased to announce the completion of renovations to Fuller Lodge and the Historical Museum, aka the Guest Cottage.
The public is invited to a grand re-opening celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31. The ceremony will be followed by tours of the facilities.
