Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU) has announced that the university has received the single largest gift in university history from the Loy Family.
ENMU alumnus, former Greyhound Football captain, and ENMU Hall of Honors recipient Steve Loy and his family have agreed to donate $2.5 million to ENMU to support ENMU student-athletes and ENMU athletics.
In honor of this gift, ENMU will rename Greyhound Stadium and Greyhound Arena after his family.

Heinrich Bill To Extend Federal Programs To Support Fire Departments Including Los Alamos County Passes Senate
WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Sen. Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) applauded Senate passage of his bipartisan Fire Grants and Safety Act, legislation to extend federal programs that help support local fire departments in Los Alamos County, throughout New Mexico and across the country.
The bill would reauthorize the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) grant program and the Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) program through 2030 and the United States Fire Administration (USFA) through 2028.
