Barranca Mesa Elementary School PTO Announces Inaugural Trick-Or-Trot 5K & 1 Miler Fun Run/Walk

The PTO for Barranca Mesa Elementary School is hosting its annual Trick-or-Trot 5K Fun Run & Walk Saturday, Oct. 28 at Barranca Mesa Elementary School, 57 Loma Del Escolar.

SFCC Water Pressure Update – Main Campus To Remain Closed Through Labor Day Sept. 4; Anticipated Opening Sept. 5 – Online Services, Online Classes Available

SANTA FE – Santa Fe Community College (SFCC) Water Pressure Update: Due to the impacts of low water pressure arising from Santa Fe County construction projects near the campus, the SFCC Main Campus (at 6401 Richards Ave.) will remain closed through Labor Day, Sept. 4.

The anticipated opening of the SFCC Main Campus is Tuesday, Sept. 5.

The lower-than-normal water pressure has compromised the college’s fire suppression system, which prohibits the public or employees from coming onto campus. A fully functional fire suppression system is a requirement for the college to be open. Read More

Last May 268 Los Alamos High School (LAHS) students completed 488 AP® exams in 26 subjects. More than 78% of students received scores of 3 or higher on their exams.

The College Board’s Advanced Placement Program® (AP®) provides students with the opportunity to take rigorous college-level courses while still in high school, and to earn college credit, advanced placement, or both for successful performance on the AP Exams.
