TUCSON, Ariz. — A new research study at the University of Arizona (UA) Health Sciences will focus on identifying potential therapeutic targets and opportunities to prevent or delay the course of Alzheimer’s disease, which currently affects more than 6 million people in the United States.

New Mexico Superintendent of Insurance Russell Toal has announced the indictment of Matthew Walker of Albuquerque for felony arson and insurance fraud May 21, 2021.

Special agents with the Criminal Division of the Office of Superintendent of Insurance worked with Albuquerque Fire and Rescue to investigate the matter.

New Mexico Youth Conservation Corps Commission Announces Grant Awards To Fund 28 Projects In 2021

YCC News:

The New Mexico Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) Commission announced funding for 28 conservation and community projects in 2021.

The grants total $2.6 million and have been awarded to a variety of projects that will hire 422 New Mexican youths between the ages of 14 and 25.

Awards were made to two charter schools, one university, one tribe, two state agencies, 10 non-profit organizations, four municipalities and two counties.
