LAS VEGAS, NM — Science students at New Mexico Highlands University will increase hands-on learning with new state-of-the art science instrumentation and technology tools, thanks to a grant from the Sherman Fairchild Foundation.

Governor Presents Keynote At 8th Kids Count Conference

ALBUQUERQUE—Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham will give the keynote address at this year’s New Mexico KIDS COUNT Conference.

The deadline to submit a letter of interest for the Los Alamos School Board vacancy left by the departure of Julia Baker has been extended to Aug. 20.
The vacant seat represents District 4, which includes Barranca Mesa Elementary School and Los Alamos Middle School.

Los Alamos High School students arrived Monday at prescribed times to check registration, turn in summer work, check with the nurse, visit the registrar, turn in books, pick up new books and exchange chrome books.
