Los Alamos ScienceFest 2019 Is Underway!

Los Alamos ScienceFest began Tuesday and continues for six days in a row, with a variety of highlights throughout the week.
 
Friday is themed, “Health Day,” as the events will include many based on, “Fitness in the Great Outdoors”. Several local instructors, of a variety of different backgrounds, have teamed up to teach free outdoor classes that will pop up at different spots around town.

Brown is director of the Lee Edward Travis Research Institute and professor of psychology in the Department of Doctoral Psychology at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, Calif.

Free Hunter Education At Camp Wehinahpay Aug. 9-11

New Mexico Department of Game & Fish is offering a special hunter education camp where youth can receive hands-on training and earn their hunter education certification free of charge.

Now’s the time to register students for the 2019-2020 school year. Online registration is open on the Los Alamos Public Schools’ (LAPS) website.  

All returning students must complete the online enrollment process.
