Graduating seniors Estrella Torres of Pojoaque Valley High School, Zachary Ginn of Taos High School and Leina Gries of Santa Fe’s Desert Academy will head to college in the fall with an extra $5,000 per year in scholarships provided by the Los Alamos Employees’ Scholarship Fund (LAESF).

Alexandra De Lucia, a gifted LANL post-baccalaureate intern, learning how to solder and taking a stab at building hardware at the local makerspace. De Lucia researches machine learning-based monitoring tools on the LANL High Performance Computing Design team. She has been a seasonal volunteer with Los Alamos Makers since the summer of 2017. Online registration for kindergarten at Aspen, Barranca, Chamisa, Mountain and Piñon elementary schools is now available through the Los Alamos Public Schools website.
Registration is an important step to ensure your student has a spot in an elementary school for the upcoming school year.
