As part of the grant received by the Office on Violence Against Women, U.S. Department of Justice, UNM-Los Alamos (UNM-LA), in collaboration with TEWA Women United, invites the community to a workshop that explores how men and boys can cultivate respectful masculinity and define their position on opposing sexual violence against women and girls.

As part of National Safe Schools Week, Los Alamos Public Schools and the Los Alamos Rotary Club will be welcoming students to school the morning of Monday, Oct. 22 for elementary schools and Thursday, Oct. 25 for middle and high school.

ALBUQUERQUE – Senior U.S. District Judge James A. Parker today sentenced David Scott Glasrud, 51, the former administrator of Southwest Learning Centers in Albuquerque to 60 months of imprisonment for his conviction on federal theft, fraud and false statement charges arising out of a nearly 15-year scheme to defraud the public charter schools he founded out of millions of dollars.
