New Mexico Wildlife Center (NMWC) invites area youth, K-12, to create a piece of “hangable” art centered on the theme “pollinators.” All media accepted. Winners receive free admission to NMWC’s Pollinator Party on July 8 to view their art hanging in the center!

Many very deserving students were awarded scholarships May 30 at the Los Alamos High School Class of 2017 Honors Convocation. Among them were 10 outstanding students recognized by the Los Alamos Public Schools Foundation for their demonstrated service contributions to the students and community of the Los Alamos Public Schools.

LAHS’s Griffith Gymnasium Gets New Flooring
Griffith Gymnasium at Los Alamos High School is getting a new floor. For the past several years the old floor was having problems with dead spots caused by the sub floor support failing.
