PEEC News:
The Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) is offering a new program this summer for 5 to 8 year olds, called Forest Explorers. This hike-and-play club will take children on weekly hikes, every Wednesday beginning June 14 through Aug. 9, with ample time for child-directed play in nature.

Would you like to learn more about wildflowers on the Pajarito Plateau? Starting at 5:30 p.m. Monday, May 22, Pajarito Environmental Education Center’s Jemez Mountain Herbarium Curator Chick Keller will lead a Wildflower Walk.
These popular monthly outings are easy walks to identify some of the wildflowers in and around Los Alamos. Each month Keller will pick a different trail, depending on what is blooming at the time. The walks are free and there is no advance registration required. Read More
