Aspiring young leaders are encouraged to attend Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), a week-long camp in July in the Manzano Mountains.
RYLA is a program that originated with Rotary International and has subsequently been specifically designed for New Mexico students by Rotary District 5520, which includes the Rotary Club of Los Alamos. There are many beautiful canyons to explore in White Rock, and this PEEC outing will give participants the chance to go with an experienced guide and a group of other hikers. The hike will begin down the Power Line Trail into lower Ancho Canyon, and then it will continue on to Ancho Rapids.
