Los Alamos Middle School 8th grader Yuiko Yamaguchi was accepted to the Junior Violin Division of the 2025 Summer Program at Heifetz International Music Institute in Staunton, Virginia to study with Li-Mei Liang. The selection process was through rigorous audition of video recordings, in which she played the first movement of the Mozart Violin Concerto No.3 in G Major and Bach Partita No.2 Allemande.
