Tevor Matuszak, 19, died in July 2017 after falling outside of Hell’s Hole Cave near the Red Dot Trail in White Rock.

This not the first tragedy to occur at this location. In the past, another hiker fell fatally outside this small cave and a third suffered serious injuries while exploring at Hell’s Hole.

‘Relationship Building’ On Menu For Legislators

Concho Resources really wants to get to know you. At least, if you’re on the Legislative Finance Committee.

The oil and gas company’s lobbyist reported spending $4,173 at the upscale Santa Fe restaurant La Casa Sena last month on “relationship building” with the influential committee.

Lobbyists had a deadline Tuesday night to report spending from the beginning of October to the end of December. This restaurant tab was the single biggest expense disclosed by any of the Capitol’s legion of professional wheelers and dealers.

Health Security Act Being Introduced At Legislature Today To Ensure Coverage For All New Mexicans

Senators Carlos Cisneros, Jerry Ortiz y Pino and Bill Soules are set to introduce the Health Security Act today in the New Mexico State Senate.
 
The first phase of the Act will be a fiscal analysis to make certain that it is financially feasible.
