Sullivan Field Recycle Center Moves To Lemon Lot

We’re moving! The recycling center currently located at Sullivan Field parking lot will be relocated to the Lemon Lot.
 
Starting Oct. 15, the recycling containers currently at the Sullivan Field parking lot will be relocated to the Lemon Lot just across the street.
 
This relocation is a result of the land transfer from the Los Alamos County to Los Alamos Public Schools. The Sullivan Field parking lot will be used to construct a permanent sports field house.

AUSTIN, Texas ― A comprehensive new data initiative organized by Environmental Defense Fund will use advanced emissions monitoring technologies to determine how much methane is escaping from the Permian Basin, one of the world’s largest oil and gas producing regions.

ALBUQUERQUE ― Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument is experiencing longer than normal wait times during Balloon Fiesta Week (Oct. 5-14). 
 
As balloonists and spectators make plans to visit the Monument, please plan excursions accordingly, as long wait times at the entrance are reaching from 90-120 minutes due to limited parking.  
The BLM and Pueblo de Cochiti are asking that visitors be patient during this time or consider visiting other popular areas in the ear vicinity.

SANTA FE ― As the fall season begins, land managers would like to remind the public to practice wildfire safety while enjoying the outdoors.
