Starting April 25, three New Mexico communities have a chance to participate in the City Nature Challenge by photographing wildlife in their neighborhoods. CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — The Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) is launching a nationwide strategic investment in the future of rural education called Smithsonian Scientists Taking Astronomy to Rural Schools (STARS).

SANTA FE — The Bureau of Land Management New Mexico State Office yesterday opened a 30-day public comment period to receive public input on plans to include 21 oil and gas leases, totaling 8843 acres. The comment period ends May 21, 2025.
