Thirty-five years is a long time. In most cases, it’s more than a generation. That’s how long Tim and Tanya Stidham have served as ministers of the Los Alamos Church of Christ. They are retiring from that work June 5.
Actually, it won’t be 35 years until August, but circumstances require the Stidhams to be in Abilene, Texas, before then.

Operating food trucks in Los Alamos got a boost after Los Alamos County unanimously approved an ordinance to include mobile food vending in the County’s code during its regular meeting Tuesday evening.

School is almost out for the summer but the Los Alamos Public Schools Transportation Department urges all drivers in the county to stop when the red lights are flashing and the stop arm is extended.
“We want to keep the students of Los Alamos safe,” said LAPS Director of Transportation Keith Rosenbaum. “Running the stop arm and flashing red lights of a school bus endangers the students getting on and off the buses.
