A significant number of used cars have accident histories that sellers conveniently forget to mention.
Here’s how to spot the red flags before you buy:
Start With the Paper Trail 

Pay the $40 for Carfax or AutoCheck. Look for “structural damage”, “frame damage”, or “airbag deployment”. If the car has moved between states frequently, especially to states with lax title laws, this could be title washing to hide a salvage history.

Los Alamos Public Schools (LAPS) would like to make the public aware of additional work at Chamisa Elementary School in White Rock over the next several weeks that will impact the community, students and families.

The contractor will be installing a new fence on the school site beginning Monday, Nov. 3, which will necessitate closing a section of the trail behind the school.

Lewis’s Woodpecker Spotted Above Quemazon

This Lewis’s Woodpecker was spotted Monday near Pipeline Road above Quemazon. Uniquely colored, Lewis’s Woodpeckers are seldom seen but found in Los Alamos County all year long. Their metallic green wings and backs, watermelon-red chests, and blood-red faces set them apart from all other woodpeckers. They are named in honor of explorer Meriwether Lewis.
