Rangers, Los Alamos Firefighters Aid Visitor at Bandelier

Mid-morning today, May 7, a visitor reported to a park volunteer that another visitor had collapsed along Bandelier’s Main Loop Trail. Park rangers and the Los Alamos Fire Department responded, and found him conscious and alert.
 
They transported him to the Los Alamos Medical Center. At that time, the cause of his collapse had not been determined .The man and his wife were visiting from Florida.

April 25 at 7:44 a.m. / A 47-year-old Los Alamos man reported that he was the victim of larceny in the 900 block of Canyon Road. The estimated loss is under $500. The matter is under investigation.

April 25 at 1:48 p.m. / A 22-year-old Tempe man reported that he was the victim of criminal sexual penetration in the 900 block of Capulin Road. The matter is under investigation.

The U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) has designated Reducing Residential Arson as the theme for the 2013 Arson Awareness Week, running May 5-11.
