Public Response to DEA’S National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day Keeps Growing
DEA News:
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The United States Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA’s) Sixth National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day this past Saturday collected 50 percent more pills than the previous event.
This demonstrates the American public’s continued appreciation and need for the opportunity to discard unwanted, unused and expired prescription drugs from medicine cabinets, bedside tables and kitchen drawers.

County DWI Planning Council Meets May 16
COUNTY News:
The Los Alamos County DWI Planning Council will hold a meeting at 8:30 a.m., May 16 in the Los Alamos Police Department Training Room, 2500 Trinity Dr., Ste. A.
The meeting is open to the public and will include topics such as the FY14 grant application status, implementing a new resolution from the County Council and DWI Planning Council By-Law revisions, new member appointments and prevention funding for the Los Alamos Teen Center.
