Los Alamos Police Collect 332 lbs. of Prescription Drugs At Take-Back Event Saturday

LAPD News:
The Los Alamos Police Department conducted its bi-annual DEA prescription drug take back initiative Saturday, April 27.
LAPD conducted two location sites for the first time this year, one at Los Alamos Medical Center and the second at the public library in White Rock.
The total weight of collected drugs was 332 pounds.

Evening commuters to White Rock encountered a fountain of water shooting up over six feet into the air at the intersection of N.M. 4 near the Truck Route.
A Department of Public Utilities crew was on scene and preliminary reports indicate that they will be working through the night to make repairs.
