Search Continues for LANB Bank Robber

FBI News:

The FBI released the following information a few moments ago:

The FBI and Los Alamos Police Department are looking for a woman who robbed Los Alamos National Bank branch at 77 Rover Blvd. in White Rock Tuesday, Feb. 5.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic or Native American female in her late 20s or early 30s, approximately 5’4” tall, and weighing about 150 pounds.

She may have a scar or tattoo below her left eye.

The suspect wore a black jacket over a black hooded sweatshirt and a gray hooded sweatshirt. She also had on winter gloves.

FBI Takes Over Local Bank Robbery Case

LAPD News:

Los Alamos Police have handed off this afternoon’s bank robbery case of the Los Alamos National Bank in White Rock to the FBI, which is standard procedure.

The latest information obtained by the Los Alamos Daily Post is that the suspect is described as a 5’4” Hispanic woman, mid 20-40 years of age with a blue star tattoo on her face and wearing a black sweatshirt with logo on it.

Children Remain Inside White Rock’s Chamisa and Pinon Schools While Police Hunt Bank Robber

 

LAPS News:

Both Chamisa Elementary School and Pinon Elementary School in White Rock will keep students in school until parents/guardians pick them up this afternoon.

“In cooperation with local police, we are following this procedure as a safety precaution as they continue their investigation of a bank robbery suspect (s) potentially in the area,” from a statement released by Los Alamos Public Schools.
