With a voice described as touching the soul, Los Alamos singer Rene LeClaire has graced concerts as a featured vocalist with the Choral Society, Coro de Camera and the Sangre de Cristo Chorale.
LeClaire also is a featured vocalist with the Los Alamos Big Band, a popular 16-instrument, 1940s Glenn Miller-style swing band.

The community is invited to attend a day of insight meditation, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21 at the Unitarian Church of Los Alamos.
There will be guided sitting and walking meditation with time for lunch and resting. Each student will have a one-on-one meeting with the teacher.
The program will conclude with a Dharma talk and sharing. Participants should bring their own lunch, a variety of teas will be available.
