Fight Breast Cancer at Run for Her Life April 14

At 9 a.m. Sunday, April 14 the Los Alamos Chapter of Hadassah, the Los Alamos Jewish Center and Atomic City Roadrunners will present the third annual Run for Her Life.
The event is a 5K and 10K race in Los Alamos to raise awareness and funds to fight breast cancer.

Boys Atomic Tumblers Compete at State Championship

The boys’ competitive team from Los Alamos School of Gymnastics competed in the 2013 New Mexico Boys State Championship in Albuquerque on March 16th and 17th.

Philo Shelton earned an all-around score of 51.95, placing seventh. Shelton earned an 8.9 (8th) on floor, 9.1 (7th) on pommel horse, 8.1 (8th) on rings, 9.35 (8th) on vault, 8.8 (6th) on parallel bars, and 7.7 (8th) on high bar.
