LAHS Softball Beats Albuquerque Academy 14-0!

The Los Alamos High School Softball Team lost its first district game to Bernalillo 4-2 Wednesday and came back to beat Albuquerque Academy Friday night 14-0. In that game, Cristina Perez, Micaela Christensen and Kristin Christensen all hit home runs. Emily Jones pitched a complete game shutout and earned her season victory of the season. Los Alamos Athletes Compete in USASA Southwest Freeride Series

The Pajarito Freeride Team including Los Alamos High School sophomores Charlie Herrmann, Austin Salmon and Steven Calhoun, led by Coach Tony Hinojosa as they enter Opening Ceremonies of Nationals Saturday evening. LAHS Teen Named 2013 Santa Fe Rodeo Princess

Los Alamos High School junior Abigail Woodmansee is the 2013 Santa Fe Rodeo Princess.

Woodmansee tried out for the Santa Fe Rodeo Royalty in April of last year.

The competion included horsemanship, modeling, giving a speech, answering impromptu questions and a personal interview.

The competition had a panel of two judges. The winners for princess and queen were crowned the last night of Rodeo de Santa Fe and reign one year.

LAHS Taps Robin Reynolds for New Varsity Head Volleyball Coach

LAHS HILLTOPPER News:

Los Alamos High School just announced that Robin Reynolds has been name the new Varsity Head Volleyball Coach. 

Reynolds was recently the C team volleyball coach at Los Alamos High School. 

He was the JV coach under Coach Stokes in 2000-01 and then had been the C team coach since 2010. 

Reynolds has also worked with club and YMCA programs since 1994. 

Coach Reynolds is looking forward to the challenges that face him as the Head Volleyball Coach of the Los Alamos Hilltoppers. Read More
