Los Alamos Girls Lacrosse Program Launching This Spring!

Exciting news for sports enthusiasts in Los Alamos! A new girls lacrosse program is launching in Spring 2025, offering middle and high school girls the chance to join a Junior Varsity (JV) team and experience the thrill of one of the fastest-growing sports in the country.
Registration is now open at www.laylax.org, and there is no cost to sign up.

Happy New Year.
Heading into the New Year, New Mexico’s snowpack is still suffering from the lack of precipitation and warmer-than-normal daytime temperatures. The snowpack last week was just 12-percent of normal.
A change in the weather pattern is forecast to bring colder temperatures and hopefully some precipitation to our state this coming week. It is much-needed. Stocking activity last week was limited to Southern New Mexico.
Anglers should consider a trip to Southern New Mexico.
