The Los Alamos High School Varsity Girls Basketball Team hosted the Belen Eagles at home Friday night in Griffith Gymnasium.
The Toppers struggled on offense in the first half but found momentum in the second half significantly closing the scoring gap.
The final score was 40-54 in favor of the Eagles.

Lady Rhinos Secure Victory Over Mustangs At 2024 Los Alamos Hockey Holiday Classic
The New Mexico Mustangs and El Paso Lady Rhinos girls hockey teams faced off Dec. 28 in the Los Alamos Hockey Holiday Classic at the Los Alamos County Ice Rink. The Lady Rhinos secured a 14-2 voctory. There was lots of action in front of the Mustang goal as goalie Chloe Blackburn makes a defensive move to deflect the puck as teammate Gracy Garcia tries to block the Rhino’s shot by Sapphira Ulibarri.
