New Bloomfield Police Chief Randy FosterFoster, 38, was recently selected out of a national pool of 48 applicants as one of the top three finalists for Santa Fe police chief. Espanola Public Safety Director Eric Garcia got the job and last Friday, Bloomfield City Manager David Fuqua contacted Foster and offered him the police chief position in Bloomfield.

FBI Seeks Public’s Help In Finding Driver Involved In Fatal Accident In Shiprock
FBI News:
The FBI and Navajo Nation Division of Public Safety are asking for the public’s help in finding the driver of a vehicle that struck and killed a man near Shiprock Sunday night.
The man’s body was discovered at approximately 9:26 p.m. on Mesa Farm Road, about six miles west of Shiprock, on the Navajo Indian Reservation. The location is known locally as the “second wash before the old end of the pavement.”
No vehicle was found at the scene.
The man’s name is being withheld until positive identification can be made.
Investigators would like to talk to anyone who may have been in the area around
