As a proud native son of the Española Valley and a member of the New Mexico State Senate, I was deeply disappointed to see the veto of $500,000 that would have funded Phase 2 of the feasibility study for a Lowrider Museum in Española. Updated: Los Alamos Photo Club 2026 Show Call For Entries

The Los Alamos Photo Club (LAPC) announces their annual photo show, Friday April 3 through Wednesday May 6, in Step Up Gallery on the upper level of the Mesa Public Library.

Entries will be accepted from anyone who lives or works in Los Alamos County or the surrounding area. There is generally no limit to the number of entries one may submit. However, if the available display space will not accommodate all entries, entries from Photo Club members will have preference.

Court Of Appeals To Display Artwork Of Middle School Students Who Practice Restorative Justice

ALBUQUERQUE — The state Court of Appeals will host an exhibition of artwork by students who follow restorative justice principles to resolve conflict and reduce harmful behavior at their middle school in Albuquerque.

Los Alamos County is now accepting applications from eligible candidates for appointment to one vacant seat on the Art in Public Places (APP) Board. The vacancy is a two-year term, expiring on March 24, 2028.
