Local Teen Strives to Succeed in Music Business

COMMUNITY News:

Brian Johnson, a 16-year-old Los Alamos High School student, is an Electro Dance Music (EDM) Disc Jockey (DJ) and music producer. 

Johnson is enrolled at the Berklee College of Music earning his bachlors degree in music production as well as completing high school.

Also known as Turbul3nc3, Johnson has been Djing since the age of 12 and started producing music about two years ago. He has two albums and three singles on iTunes and performs at a 21 and under venue in Albuquerque most weekends.

Los Alamos Home Sales Rise; Prices Dip in Second Quarter of 2014

Single family home and condo/townhome sales combined increased by 8 percent when comparing the second quarter of 2014 to the same quarter in 2013, according to figures released by the Los Alamos Association of REALTORS®.

During this same period, the median price of single family homes dropped by 9 percent or from $277,525 in the second quarter of 2013 to $255,000 in the second quarter of 2014.

Council Approves Contract With REDI Net to Enhance Los Alamos, White Rock Business Districts

Los Alamos Deputy County Administrator/CFO Steve Lynne and Matt Casados of REDI Net in Council Chambers today present details of a proposed $250,000 general services contract with REDI Net for the purpose of developing ‘fiber meet points’ in business districts around the community.
