The Los Alamos Venture Accelerator (LAVA) launched its official website https:////lava.guru.

The website gives entrepreneurs everything they need to successfully launch their startups. Users can

  • learn fundamentals of entrepreneurship,
  • locate resources like other startup companies,
  • find out about events and job openings,
  • connect with other entrepreneurs, mentors and investors.

The website, and the LAVA organization, were modeled after founder Nicholas Seet’s virtual incubator www.sivi.com. However, LAVA offers more personal interaction and local networking opportunities. Read More

She will be located primarily at the Los Alamos Medical Center Imaging Department. Dr. Pickering is an accomplished physician specializing in general diagnostic radiology, and she recently completed a womens’ imaging fellowship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Originally from New Mexico, she grew up in Albuquerque and Tularosa.
