Acosta Is Best Predictor In ACRR Pace Race

ACRR News:

Eliverio Acosta was the top predictor in the Atomic City Road Runners (ACRR) weekly Pace Race held starting at the Pajarito Complex on Arizona Avenue. Acosta was 11 seconds off his predicted time.

Other accurate predictors were Felix Candia with a 18 second difference; Warren Scoggins recording 28 seconds off; a tie between Madeline Harms and Conor Gavin with a 33 second differential; and Zach Medin at 36 seconds off.

On the 1-mile course, Ivana Velechovsky, 8, was the best finisher at 10:22 and Ryder Hetrick, 5, was the first male with a time of 11:43.

Teatro Paraguas is pleased to host Seventh Corner Productions and their original play It’s Just Dinner!

Written by Grayson Pinto, Lily Pinto, and Reilly Stranahan, and starring Dakotah Rose, Grayson Pinto, Lily Pinto, Marika Sayers, and John Michael Hayley, the play is a raucous comedy. The fairly cryptic tagline is “She vanished a year ago, now’s she back. It’s fresh, it’s hilarious, it’s fruity, It’s Just Dinner.”

PEEC Planetarium’s Night Sky Shows Moving To Tuesdays

The Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) will be moving the monthly “Night Sky” planetarium talks to 7 p.m., the first Tuesday of the month through the summer. These fascinating full-dome presentations allow all ages to explore what stars and planets will be in the night sky for that month. Starting in June the new time will allow families to enjoy the planetarium programs as well as other summer activities Los Alamos has to offer.
